You Will Need: 2 1/4 cups boiling water; 1/3 cup milk; 2 tablespoons margarine or butter. 1. Oven: Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Stir potatoes, sauce mix, boiling water, milk and margarine in 1 1/2-quart casserole. 2. Bake uncovered about 20 minutes or until tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Refrigerate leftovers. For 2 boxes, double all ingredients; bake in 3-qt casserole about 25 min. Bake potatoes and roast meat at the same time: 325 degrees F about 55 min; 350 degrees F about 45 min; 375 degrees F about 40 min. Stove-Top: 1. Heat potatoes, sauce mix, 2 1/4 cups hot water, 1/3 cup milk and 2 tablespoons margarine or butter to boiling in 2-quart saucepan, stirring occasionally. 2. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 11 to 13 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). High altitude (3500-6500 ft): Oven: For 1 box, increase boiling water to 2 1/2 cups. For 2 boxes, increase boiling water to 5 cups. Stove-Top: No change. Refrigerate leftovers.
