Usage Directions / Dosage: Stovetop and Microwave Amounts: 1 Serving - 3/4 cup Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal.), 1/2 cup Oatmeal, dash Salt (optional); Larger Serving (This larger serving of oatmeal provides 3 grams of oat soluble fiber, which when added daily to a low saturated fat, low cholesterol diet may help reduce the risk of heart disease. A single serving provides 2 grams.) - 1-1/4 cups Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal.), 3/4 cup Oatmeal, dash Salt (optional); 2 Servings - 1-1/2 cups Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal.), 1 cup Oatmeal, 1/8 tsp Salt (optional). Stove Top: 1. Combine boiling water and salt in bowl. 2. Gradually stir in oatmeal, stirring constantly. 3. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until desired consistency. Microwave (One Serving): For Chewier Oatmeal - 1. Microwave water and salt on high in medium (1-1/2 qt.) microwavable bowl about 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes. 2. Stir in oatmeal. 3. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until desired consistency. For Creamier Oatmeal - 1. Combine water and oatmeal in medium (1-1/2 qt.) microwaveable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes. 3. Stir before serving.
