5 Minute one step stuffing mix preparation. Stop Top: 1 package stuffing mix, 1 2/3 cups water, 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter. 1. Bring 1 2/3 cups water and 1/4 cup (4 tbsp) of margarine or butter to a boil. Stir in entire contents of stuffing mix pouch; Cover and remove from heat. 2. Let stand for 5 minutes, fluff with fork and serve. For more moist stuffing, increase water by 2 tablespoons; for less moist stuffing decrease water by 2 tablespoons. Microwave: 1. Combine contents of stuffing mix, hot water and margarine/ butter, cut in pieces, in 1 1/2 quart microwaveable bowl. Stir. 2. Cover and cook at High 5 to 6 minutes. Fluff with fork. Ovens may vary.
